PowerDVD - is one of the most popular DVD players. It's advantages are high image quality, easy interface with the skin support, and high configurability.
Besides playing DVD and Video CD movies, PowerDVD also allows to play all other movie formats including MPEG1 and MPEG2. PowerDVD has all the features of a hardware DVD player: image scaling, repeated playback, setting marks, speed-up. It also has the feature to simultaneously show subtitles in 2 different languages.

MediaCoder v0.3.9 - freeware audio/video transcoder, which includes a lot of different audio and video tools under one program.
MediaCoder's faetures:
• enhanced vide compression / size reducing (when converting audio and video) from MPG/VOB/AVI/RMVB/MOV/MP4 formats into AVI/MKV/MP4 (Xvid/DivX/H.264 + MP3/OGG/AAC)
• extracting sound tracks from video files of MPG/VOB/AVI/RMVB/MOV/MP4 formats into MP3/OGG/AAC/MPC
• converting VCD/DVD from RMVB/MOV to MPEG 1/2
• converting from lossless formats or high bitrate files APE/FLAC/WavPack (+ CUE sheets) into MP3/AAC/WMA for playing into portable players
• copying and compressing audio tracks into APE/FLAC/WavPack/MP3/OGG/AAC/WMA/MPC

| DVD Region-Free 5.56 has beed updated (pro and lite versions). Allows to play DVDs on any DVD-drive with the regional code blocked. Also disables check for the region in popular DVD palyers like PowerDVD, WinDVD and CinePlayer |

PowerEncoder MPEG4 AVC Edition v1.0 - another utility from the CyberLink company - the developer of a famous PowerDVD software. PowerEncoder MPEG4 AVC allows to fetch video directly from DV input and instantly encode it into MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DV-AVI, H.264. After that PowerEncoder MPEG4 AVC allows to convers those files into DivX. PowerEncoder MPEG4 AVC also can grab DVD into DivX.
